Haier French Door Refrigerator - Control Showing ES or E5

ES or E5 on a French Door refrigerator indicates that the Energy Saver mode is active.

 

Some Haier French Door refrigerators are shipped with Energy Saver mode enabled. Energy Saver mode turns off the mullion heater, which reduces condensation buildup around the refrigerator doors in humid climates. If the environment is not humid, turn the Energy Saver mode on. Press and hold the " Energy Saver " button M on the control panel for 5 seconds to turn On or Off the Energy Saver feature.
