Haier - Portable Washer Leaking

If the portable washer is leaking, check the following:
 

Inlet Hose

 

• Make sure the white connector on the fill hose is connected to the washer and the gray connector is connected at the faucet water supply. The connectors on the hoses are not the same size, so reversing them will cause the unit to leak.

• Make sure the hoses are tighten properly.

Detergent Use

 

• Make sure HE detergent is being used. HE detergent is low sudsing and designed to be used in small machines and with lower water levels. Failure to use HE detergent can cause suds and/or water to leak around the wash basket.

• Using too much detergent can cause excessive sudsing.

Loading

 

• Don't overload the washer.
• Large bulky items like comforters should not be washed in the washer.

Leveling

 

• Make sure the washer is level.
