Manually filling the tub is not possible for proper operation. Haier washers are designed with high efficiency in mind, automatically determining the amount of water required. Portable washers require pressurized water for the fill function of wash and rinse cycles. If attempting to operate the unit without pressurized water, the unit will display an error code and stop mid-cycle.
