When a bottom freezer refrigerator is delivered, the packing material and tape will need to be removed before turning on the refrigerator.
- Tape residue can be removed from surfaces by rubbing a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fingers. Rinse with warm water and dry.
- Remove foam block(s) inserted between the compressor motor and the cabinet, as shown in the Owner's Manual. Do not remove the plastic drain tray located above the compressor motor on models with automatic defrost.
Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can damage the surface of your refrigerator.
