Ductless (split air) air conditioners will display an error code beginning with either an E or an F (ex. E7, F8) when the system needs attention. Error codes will be displayed at the indoor unit on the LED display or a flashing pattern of the LED lights. These codes tell a qualified service professional what is wrong with the unit. Contact your installing contractor for repair and tell them what service error code is displayed.
