Crostini with Goat Cheese, Pear & Honey
These simple crostini are delightful with a spread of creamy goat cheese, slices of pear and a drizzle of honey.
- 1 french baguette, sliced 1/2-inch thick
- Olive oil
- 8 oz. soft goat cheese
- 1 ripe pear, cored and quartered, sliced thin
- Chopped pistachio nuts for garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Brush both sides of the sliced bread with olive oil, and place on a baking sheet. For easy clean-up, line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Bake the bread for about 10 minutes, or until golden. Flip slices over half-way through baking time.
Top each slice of crostini (your toasted bread slices) with a spread of goat cheese and a slice of pear. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
