It is normal for the display to show a higher number then the temperature selected. The set temperature shows on the display for a moment after adjustment.
- While you are pressing the temperature adjustment buttons the set temperature will change.
- After adjusting the temperature the display reverts to the temperature value in the room.
Exception: Serenity Series models (ESAQ406P & ESAQ408P) do not display the current room temperature. The display will only show the Set temperature, not actual temperature.
