Laboratory refrigerators that comply with regulations from agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are designed to provide specific levels of temperature control and a uniform temperature throughout the chamber.
Haier consumer grade refrigerators are not in compliance with FDA regulations for laboratory refrigerators. Haier does not approve the use of their major appliances for any use other than normal household operation, i.e. microwaves for sterilizing medical supplies, commercial storage of medicine or vaccines, etc. Any non-approved may void the Haier warranty.
Medical or commercial freezer are not U.S. products. We recommend contacting the distributor where it was purchase for assistance with these units.
