When using a wok on our Haier gas ranges and cooktops, we recommend using only a flat-bottomed wok with a diameter of 14 inches or less. Also, make sure the wok bottom sits flat on the grate. Do not use a wok support ring. Placing the ring over the burner or grate may cause the burner to work improperly, trapping heat and blocking air to the burner resulting in a carbon monoxide hazard.
Some older Haier Gas Ranges came with a Wok Ring accessory (see below) that could be used with both flat and round-bottomed pans. This wok ring is no longer available nor recommended for newer models.
